Having grown up in New England, it is only natural that I, as an artist, would paint the little villages, covered bridges and lighthouses that are my world. But my eye is continually drawn to the smaller, more intimate details of nature and human existence. My pulse always quickens when I open my paintbox to begin a sketch, knowing that what I see before me will be painted into my heart.

I am a self taught artist, whose childhood exposure to the worlds of artists like Beatrix Potter and Tasha Tudor was the best education I could have asked for.

My husband Michael and I (and our dog Zoe) are fortunate to make our home on the shore of a beautiful little lake in western New Hampshire, where inspiration greets me everyday and with every New England season.
